  1. -Subscribe to any ecompute product in go to aws marketplace

  2. -Launch software with CloudFormation.

  3. -Once your instance is ready, enter the http://{IP address}/ by into your browser.

  4. -Fill configuration form introducing Instance ID, a password and time depending your timezone.

  5. -Enjoy your ecompute product and start economizing your instances!

 
  • FAQs - Frequently asked questions

    -How to recover my password if I forget it?

    Connect through ssh with user "ec2-user" to your ecoTimer instance, substitute this configuration file:
    cd /var/www/html/data/ 
    cp users_template.xml users.xml
    Fill configuration form introducing a new password.

    -How to set my domain as access point?

    Just set your domain through Route 53 service pointing to your ecompute instance.
    For example: ecotimer.yourcompany.com; dbtimer.yourcompany.com
    That's it!

    -How to upgrade to new version?

    Connect through sftp with user "ec2-user" to your ecompute instance. Download configuration files indicated below.
    Launch a new instance with new version software.
    Upload and substitute configuration files.
    /var/www/html/data/users.xml
    /var/www/html/data/instances.xml
    /var/www/html/data/configs.xml

    -Why my timers are not working?

    Check CPU Credit Balance on AWS management console, surely you need to upgrade your instance because of high number of instances and timers.
